peta2 Street Teamer Kinsey Duvall spent this summer speaking up for animals. He was volunteering at a local animal shelter near East Greenville, Pennsylvania—and he even donated dog food and cat litter. He also spent time making his voice heard for elephants suffering in circuses and even held a protest outside a local McDonald’s. Kinsey e-mailed with peta2 staffers, submitted Street Team reports, and promoted vegetarianism on his YouTube and Facebook pages. Kinsey dedicated his life to speaking up for those who couldn’t.
Last month, Kinsey Duvall passed away at the young age of 14, stripping the world of his voice but leaving his parents, family, and friends knowing that his legacy is one of compassion, love, and peace. peta2 is announcing a day of action in Kinsey’s honor, which will be held tomorrow, September 30.
“I tell his mother he touched so many in his short life and his legacy will continue. I tell people that the world was too small for Kinsey. It was his stepping stone to the universe.”
—Craig Duvall, Kinsey’s Dad
In honor of Kinsey and for all beings (human and nonhuman) who suffer silently, raise your voice tomorrow. Volunteer for an hour at your local animal shelter, talk to your principal about dissection alternatives, or just post a message on your Facebook page—like Kinsey did—to raise awareness for animals who need your help.
Kinsey, you will be missed.
