It seems like just yesterday when we were starting the tour up at Ole Miss and made our way over to Florida State and the University of Maryland, to name a few (we even went all the way to the University of Toronto!).
We wrapped up the tour with Ivy League schools, visiting both the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University these past two weeks. Students at both schools understood the need to adopt a vegan diet, especially after we showed them the parallels between animal cruelty and human oppression. In addition to talking about veganism, we encouraged students to sign petitions for their universities to provide alternatives to using animals in classroom experiments. It was a great way to wrap up the spring tour!
Just because the Liberation Project’s spring tour is over doesn’t mean this is all you’ll hear from peta2′s college division. Don’t fret, my friends—we’ve got some fun stuff planned for you this summer! Remember, the Animal Rights Road Trip is just around the corner!
Memorial Day weekend will be here before you know it so register yourself (or group) right now, and secure your spot.
Well, I love Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, CSI, Criminal Minds, Doctor Who and comic books (I mean, my profile pic IS Damian Wayne and Bat-Cow...). I'm kind of spazzy and I tend to ramble... I'm also an obsessive perfectionist...heh heh...a science/tech nerd and a vegetarian.
