Lucky Bunny and peta2 Team Up
After seeing Lucky Bunny spotlighted in Alternative Press, I reached out to artist and founder Rich DeSimone to talk about the inspiration behind the company. Named after his rescued bunny, Lucky, the brand has grown from producing concert posters for the likes of X and Wilco to releasing series after series of sold-out fine-art prints and foraying into the world of T-shirts and toys. Check out what Rich had to say about animal testing, adopting and caring for bunnies, and how you can make a difference by supporting cruelty-free companies:
After stopping by the Bob Barker Building in Los Angeles, Rich hit the print shop with peta2 in mind. He created a limited run of Lucky Bunny tees exclusively for peta2. Each tee is unique, and the entire screen-printing process was documented on the Lucky Bunny website. I highly recommend you check it out! These might be the coolest T-shirts of all time:
For your chance to win one of the two Lucky Bunny T-shirts pictured above as well as a sticker pack, leave a comment telling us why animals are lucky to have you on their side.* Don’t forget to include your T-shirt size!
*Two grand-prize winners will be chosen at random from submitted animal-friendly comments in which the commenters tell us what actions they take that make animals lucky to have them on their side as well as what size T-shirt they wear. Winners will choose between the two T-shirts offered above. Three runners-up will each receive a sticker pack. Entries must be received by September 5, 2012. The winners will be chosen at random and notified on September 7, 2012.
