We’ve been campaigning hard to get as many people as possible to back Canadian Sen. Mac Harb’s bill to phase out the Canadian seal slaughter, and last week, he received some unexpected celeb support from Ontario native and The Secret Life of the American Teenager star Megan Park.
The proud Canadian wrote to each senator in her hometown province of Ontario on behalf of peta2 and PETA to share her support for the bill and urge the senators to help pass it.
“Since I play a teenager on TV,” writes Megan, “I know that young people everywhere are becoming increasingly aware of issues that affect animals, and like me, they don’t want to see baby seals bludgeoned and skinned alive to make fur coats.”
The bill is still up for debate, and thanks to tremendous support (from Pamela Anderson, Morrissey, and even Russian prime ministers!), Canada is getting the message loud and clear: End the seal slaughter! Be sure to voice your support today!

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
