Last week the nominees for the 2009 MTVU Woodie Awards were announced, and of course peta2 was repped hard! The Woodie Awards come around every December just in time to give college students a much needed break from cramming for exams. The show always hosts an impressive list of performers, including Gym Class Heroes, All Time Low, Imogen Heap, and Vampire Weekend, and this year should be just as amazing!
Death Cab for Cutie and Yeah Yeah Yeahs are both nominated for Best Video, which has previously been won by Motion City Soundtrack and Say Anything. Overnight sensation and vegetarian heartthrob Christofer Drew (a.k.a. Never Shout Never) is up for the Breaking Woodie award, which was taken home by There for Tomorrow at last year’s festivities. Other notable peta2 contenders include Tech N9ne for Left Field Woodie and P.O.S. in the category with the fiercest competition, Performing Woodie. I gotta say, I saw P.O.S. a few times during my stay on Warped Tour this year and he killed it! He’s got my vote! Who are you voting for?

I have always lived in Los Angeles but my family and I went to Mexico for my parents wedding. So we came back to LA. I don't like LA but were here already what can I do unless I move out and find my own housing. I have always liked animals and it was til I was like about 14 when I learned about tests they do on animals and I began to explore animal cruelty because I was interested it in it. I have watched videos that just broke my heart so that's why today I'm doing all I can to not buy anything that has harmed an animal and I'm vegetarian .
I'm tall, I love sewing, fashion and the environment, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.) Obviously, I love animals! :)
