Hurray! Showing some major love for bunnies and other animals tortured in product tests, hair-care giant John Paul Mitchell Systems has decided to stop selling in China rather than having any of its products tested on animals. Paul Mitchell, whose products have always been cruelty-free, had not yet been required to test its products on animals and is the first cruelty-free company to pull out of the Chinese market in order to prevent such cruel tests from occurring.
Because Paul Mitchell decided that protecting animals is more important than growing its profits, PETA is presenting the company with a well-deserved Courage in Commerce Award.PETA is funding scientists who are working with Chinese officials to accept non-animal tests—the first of which should be approved soon. Remember always to check peta2′s list of cruelty-free companies to make sure that your money isn’t going toward animal tests—no matter where in the world they are being conducted.

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.

Hey @Kaitlin,
Donkey basketball is a very cruel ‘game’ held by some schools as fundraisers. Participants ride on donkeys’ backs while playing basketball. Donkeys are dragged, kicked, and punched by participants who have no experience with handling animals.

This video made me cry it’s so beautiful simply inspiring u guys showed put this on television to open up eyes and ears to let people know that this is happening to innocent lives who have no voice and were there only hope to get the message like she said ” for us it’s a meal, for them it’s live itself” this video just touched me deep inside C:

I have been a vegetarian for over 4 years. In 6th grade, we were to dissect a baby pig. The first day I got really dizzy. I was still forced to do this project, but ever since then I’ve been a committed vegetarian(: Lately, I’ve been thinking about going a little bit vegan. Maybe eat vegan friendly foods 3 times a week and see how it goes?
