As Cody recently blogged about, peta2 has made the foray into the land of electronica. It’s not that we don’t love our punk rock roots (need I remind you that we’re on tour with Rise Against and A Day To Remember?), but we’re ecstatic to branch out into a whole new world of music and new smiling faces that we can talk to about animal rights. What better way to reach the dubstep-loving, dance-addicted masses than to join up with our old friend DJ Steve Aoki?!
peta2 recently hopped on board Dim Mak’s Deadmeat 2012 North American Tour, powered by Sol Republic, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, and featuring Aoki and Datsik. We’ll have the opportunity to talk to hundreds of people every night about all the reasons to be fur-free, and we’ll have an awesome soundtrack to do it to. Also, I hope I’m not the only one who loves that this tour is called the “Deadmeat” tour. Flesh Is for Zombies, anyone?
Stay tuned for more tour announcements coming soon. This year is shaping up to be one hell of a year for peta2, and we can’t wait to see you guys on the road!
