i would love to claim that they are just uneducated, but sadly – a lot of them are totally aware of where their fur comes from OR they have been shown the truth about the fur and just choose to deny it or ignore it. :/ animal haters / neglecters.
I had no idea that China, sorry I can not find the words to describe what I just watched. It is beyond wrong. It is sickening. How can a person in China perform such an abomination upon a living creature while it is alive.?? There is no excuse, not even for pay. Where is the compassion for a living being? Is this how they treat each other? This country is past saving, if they are convinced this is right, nothing can stop them. Really, how does anyone stop a bully like China from this torture???
most people that wear fur are either uneducated about where it comes from or are in denial and try and tell themselves that the animals are treated well and killed painlessly when that definitely isn’t the case. and even if it were, fashion is no excuse to kill anything.
Long ago when I was a teenager, I told my mother that I would like to wear a coat of fur – real fur!. She drew my attention to a picture in a magazine of 6 chinchillas in a row with their heads in glass bottles that appeared to be peanut butter bottles, suffocated.
Being born with a special gene of compassion towards humanity and respect for the living, I saw the reality behind this gruesome picture without reading the article. She explained to me that those fur bodies are denied sunshine, grass and living space. They are specially bred to be imprisoned for their whole lives and eventually to die for the sake of vanity. She taught me that quality of life is important for all humans, including all animals.
Today the fur industry is at large and peanut butter bottles with suffocating animal heads inside are forgotten. The trade has stepped up a level and mastered the skills in the cruel killing of fur animals.
As an adult I am well aware of the bloody fur industry. New methods are being implemented, but not less suffering for those animals.
Some are being electrocuted with thongs being held in their mouths and in the rectum to protect the skin. Some are strangled and their necks are broken, to die in agony to protect the skin. Some are tied down on all four paws and a red hot poker is inserted in the rectum and the internal organs are poked till the animal die, suffering slowly to protect the skin. Some are skinned alive before the body can bleed to protect the skin.
Each human body is compared to a puzzle. Some puzzles are incomplete. There is a missing piece and that piece is the very soul that that makes the difference between you and me. Your body, fur producer, manufacturer and wearer are a piece of flesh filled with emptiness. You are wearing the fur of an animal to cover up the gaping hole that lacks conscience.
I am blessed to have good qualities of being human and I live and portrait these qualities with each and every step I walk on this planet. My soul is alive and active to care about all living beings on this earth.
My ethics have taught me from a young age that my character is not equipped to be cruel towards any animal. You are a stake holder in the fur industry and you are the reason and cause why the fur industry is blooming. You are the reason why bloody bodies are stacked up in a pile and left to rot, while their skins are turned into garments and accessories for you to wear and use. These dead bodies have more soul than you!
Grody to the Max most definitely, because “uneducated” ,my left foot; because Vegan, Vegetarian, or Meat Eater you have to KNOW that fur obviously comes from an animal. And that it’s wrong…..runner up answer: ANIMAL HATERS!
That’s just the thing. The ones whi buy these $10000 fur coats know exactly what it made out of, they just feel like since it is expensive then I should wear it but they don’t feel it is wrong, they just care how they are viewed upon in society.
