Hey, activists!

Earlier this month, peta2 organized our first of many monthly demonstrations against McDonald’s in Los Angeles!

Why did we protest? There are so many reasons! First, did you know that McDonald’s, aka “McCruelty,” is one of the largest sellers of chicken flesh? It’s true! In the slaughterhouses of McDonald’s chicken suppliers, birds are dumped out of their transport crates and hung upside down in metal shackles, which can result in broken bones, extreme bruising, and hemorrhaging. Birds often have their throats cut while they are still conscious, and many are forced into tanks of scalding-hot water while they are still alive and able to feel pain.

Another reason why you should never purchase food from McDonald’s? Its food is extremely unhealthy and doesn’t decompose! Don’t believe me? Check this out!

Want to join our protests?! Be sure to join the Street Team to take action and get updates on events in your area! And check out how to organize your own demonstration! We’ll send you materials and help you make your protest a success. :)

Animals are counting on us to speak out for them! Be sure to ask everyone you know to boycott McDonald’s and go vegan to save lives!

P.S. Check out this super-fun video from our protest!
