It’s that time of the year again, the time where families gather around the big, dead, stuffed mascot and give thanks (weird, right?). Yep—Thanksgiving is almost upon us, and this year, peta2 is rescuing your dinner with our brand new Thanksgiving checklist!

What’s that? Our new Thanksgiving checklist was made for you to print out and hand to your Mom, Dad, Grandma, whoever’s in charge of your holiday dinner.
We’ve got products and tips on veganizing Thanksgiving faves—like mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie, and of course the lowdown on vegan turkey options. We’ve also got a FAQ for your parents on why you’ve chosen not to eat animals, and we’ve included some recipes to make it even easier.
E-mail us at StreetTeam@peta2.com and let us know how your parents reacted and we’ll give you 1,000 points.
Here’s to a happy holiday!
P.S. Not sure why you should ditch the turkey this year? Aside from the fact that stuffing a corpse and eating her is pretty disgusting, a PETA undercover investigation into a large turkey breeding facility revealed employees stomping on turkey’s heads, punching them, and shoving feces into turkey’s mouths. Appetizing? I don’t think so.

peta2 Street Team Coordinator + lover of vegan food, cats, animal rights, Dawson's Creek, and Harry Potter.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)
Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
I am Angela. When I am not helping animals I am listening to music, reading, or playing video games. My spirit animal is a fox and I love nature. What else is there to know? Want to know anything about me, need advice or anything message me :)

How can you eat a turkey? Have yo useen their faces and their little tails? And especially the little babies that no longer have mothers. Such a shame.

I love it! Was just looking for something like this! Sadly, I expect there will still be meat at the table -_- but hopefully everyone will prefer the vegan alternatives and decide to go cruelty free!
