PETA's Bob Barker Building Opens in Los Angeles!
If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months, you might not have heard the big news: peta2 is now based in (vegan food–filled) Los Angeles!
Yep, that’s right. Thanks to generous famed game show host and animal defender extraordinaire Bob Barker—PETA opened the doors to our brand-new Bob Barker Building last week with a star-studded party with some of the most compassionate celebs around.
Who showed up? We celebrated the opening of our new building with peta2-friendly celebs, including Davey Havok (who is actually the person who inspired me to go vegan when I was in high school!), Christian Serratos, Moby, Renee Olstead (a former Street Teamer!), Fivel Stewart, and Allisyn Arm.
What did we eat? No PETA party would be complete without tons of delicious food. This time we dished on mini-Reuben sandwiches, spicy jackfruit tacos, and more. Mmmm.
In the Los Angeles area and want to hang out? You’re in luck! The peta2 Experience: Los Angeles is coming up (and it’s FREE!), and monthly peta2 events right here in the building are in the works—just make sure that you’re a member of the peta2 Street Team so that you get all the latest updates and e-mails!
Hope to see ya soon!
