Recipe of the Week: Baked Cinnamon Apples

Lemme set the scene: The air is cold, the leaves are blowing, it starts to drizzle outside on your walk home from school, and you’re craving a quick snack as you enter your house. What’s sweet, vegan, and super simple? Baked cinnamon apples! YUM! These are the perfect fall treat—and they’re healthy, too!

Baked Cinnamon Sugar Apples

  • Prep time: 5 mins
  • Cook time: 20 mins

Ingredients
  • 2 apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. Place the apple slices in a pan and sprinkle with the cinnamon and brown sugar. (Add more or less to taste!) Top with the walnuts.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until warm and gooey.
