This week we’re combining two sweets that everyone loves—chocolate cake and chocolate pudding! Yep, you read that right. Just look at this picture—wouldn’t this cake make the perfect ending to your next family dinner? I think so!

Whether you’re looking to impress your not-so-down-with-veganism fam or satisfy your own sweet tooth, there is no denying that this cake will do the trick. Check it!

Chocolate Pudding Cake
1 box Duncan Hines® Devil’s Food cake mix
2 small bananas, mashed
2 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbsp. water
1 4-oz. cup vegan chocolate pudding

Vegan icing (optional)

  • Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions, but instead of using eggs, stir in the bananas and the cornstarch mixture.
  • Add the pudding and stir for 20 seconds, or until just combined.
  • Bake according to directions.
  • Frost with your favorite vegan icing.

Makes 1 cake

Super-simple, right? Who’s gonna make this bad boy now?!

This may be a stupid question, but for the pudding, is it pudding powder, or do you make the pudding first?

What is a simple and good frosting recipe?

      1/2 cup vegan butter
      1 cup icing sugar
about 1/3 cup soy milk ( I prefer the almond milk )
      2 table spoons of vanilla

You might need to double the recipe, I usually just throw them into a bowl. If it’s runny, add some more icing sugar & butter, if it’s too thick, add some more soy milk.

      IT’S DELICIOUS :)
