If you’re anything like me, you and fruit don’t have the greatest history. I mean, it’s pretty tasty in smoothies, but I’ve always been a little weirded out about strawberries in salads, pineapple mixed in with sweet and sour tofu, etc. I’ve made it a goal to make fruit my new bestie, so I ? this month’s Recipe of the Week theme! I absolutely love guacamole, so I’ve tried sprucing it up here with a little fruit and cumin. Check it out!
What you need:
Grab your avocados and cut them open—here’s a good site for instructions on how to do that. In a large bowl, combine all of your ingredients (aside from the chips, of course!) and mash up. I also like to add a little salt and pepper in here, but that’s just me. That’s literally all you have to do! Serve this gem up with your fave tortilla chips or on top of your burritos, taco salads, etc. Yum, yum!
