This month, we’ve been giving you the vegan spin on some infamously dairy-filled recipes, and this week, we’re conquering the almighty grilled cheese sandwich.
This all-American classic doesn’t have to be lost and forgotten once you kick dairy to the curb. In fact, vegan grilled cheese sammies are not only tastier than their milk-based counterparts but also healthier, and best of all: No baby calves had to die in the making of this sandwich.
