Since the New Year began, the peta2 Road Warriors have been out on the road kicking ass and taking names for animals. We’ve been very fortunate so far to follow the trails of Never Shout Never, Four Year Strong, and Anti-Flag while getting thousands of petition signatures against the annual slaughter of seals in Canada.

If you haven’t urged Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper to stop Canada’s sponsorship of the seal slaughter, please join our good buddies Christofer Drew (Never Shout Never) and Carter Hulsey in doing so.

A Road Warrior always needs fuel for activism, and I must say we Road Warriors take great pride in eating the finest vegan fare in every town we pass through on our quest to spread veganism. Eating such great and healthy food makes us able to help animals on a daily basis. When in San Antonio, Texas, a couple weeks ago some Road Warriors and I stopped by a premier vegetarian restaurant called Green. Green’s chef (“Chef Mike”) was busy making some food to donate to a local animal rescue organization for one of their functions. Chef Mike is such a nice guy that he invited us into his restaurant and insisted on feeding us.

Needless to say, the food was incredible, and we’ve been lucky to go back since then. If you ever find yourself in Texas, go eat at Green, the only all vegetarian and kosher restaurant–because this vegan chicken fried steak says it all!
