As some of you know, System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian and peta2 are longtime allies. He’s never afraid to speak his mind, having taken action against KFC and having joined fellow musicians Tom Morello and Anti-Flag to speak out against military trauma training. Serj recently rang us up here at peta2 headquarters to tell us about his two adorable dogs and give us props, stating, “I appreciate how peta2 supports animal adoption.”
During the call, we also chatted with Serj about his latest album and third solo recording, Harakiri. We are more than stoked to share the brand-new video for the album’s title track with you here! My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ

I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
