Sorry for not being able to update you all on the latest peta2 news on Friday. I was actually on the road with PETA’s Community Animal Project (CAP) delivering dog houses to homes in the area surrounding PETA HQ in Norfolk, VA. It’s satisfying work, but I’m glad to be back in the office!
Today there is an article in the Harold-Mail about Street Teamer Rachel Bibbee. Rachel and her mother have organized a fundraiser to raise money for their local fire department to purchase oxygen masks for animals. The firefighters in Hagertown, MD think she’s got the right idea, and we certainly do too! Check out the article here.
Word about the campaign is popping up everywhere. Check out this article about Pamela Anderson and her new man, Jesus. Jesus is a circus performer with Cirque Du Soleil, which is animal-free of course. In the article, Jesus is pictured wearing the all new “Boycott KFC” t-shirt.
Speaking of KFC, check out this awesome idea Street Teamer Edith Ortiz came up with for her next demonstration. Very creative!

I am 13 years old and joined the street team June 2015. I am a vegetarian. I have a passion for working to help save animals. I love my family and my 2 pugs, Daisy and Diesel. I plan to work for Peta or Mercy For Animals someday because they helped me become a vegetarian and begin a whole new life of having common sense towards all animals.
