You can imagine the horror on the faces of students at Illinois Central College when they recently discovered that rats are having their lungs and intestines cut out, and that frogs are having their leg muscles and nerves removed before they’re all killed. This is all happening as part of cruel and outdated classroom experiments—right at their own school!
Thankfully, a courageous student contacted us, and PETA even obtained graphic photos of the animals’ horrendous living conditions inside a closet at ICC, showing dead and dying rats who had most their fur missing. Some of the dead animals’ skulls had been picked clean by other animals.
The worst part of all is that these experiments are completely unnecessary, since there are interactive computer simulations, and other effective non-animal learning methods that could replace the tests at ICC. In fact, nearby Illinois State University and Oakton Community College have both confirmed that they do not use any live animals in their human anatomy and physiology courses.
ICC has no excuse for continuing to use and abuse rats and frogs on campus, in a time when so many alternatives are available. Please take a moment to contact the school, encouraging them to join us in the 21st century!

Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
I am Angela. When I am not helping animals I am listening to music, reading, or playing video games. My spirit animal is a fox and I love nature. What else is there to know? Want to know anything about me, need advice or anything message me :)

This is sick, and uneccisary. As i have pet rats (in large cages) of which i couldn’t even raise my voice to… how they/you can do this i will never understand. Thankfully someone has the courage. It’s people like this student we need more of in the world. i’m glad somethings being done about this situation.
