Have you noticed how ranting sometimes just feels soooooooooo good? Like really good. Well, I’m gonna use this post to go off on some things that I think majorly suck. Ready?
Non-animal–related: stepping on gum, whack cell phone reception, parking tickets, tudes, toe jam, elevator music, cupcake withdrawal, stank bref … I could go on and on, but I’ll spare ya. 
Animal-related: factory farms, animal testing, dissection, rodeos, circuses, dogs on chains, fur, wool, silk, and, of course, MEAT!!! (Just to name a few.)
Meat sucks so hard that its message is def worth sharing in tee form!

Too long to explain here, it's long enough for a novel.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. its disgusting!!.. ok so im vegetarian and i wanted to point this out about vegans i wont go vegan!.. y? becuz god made animals to produces egg’s milk, honey! these all are life giving super foods.. like a tree gives fruit to as a chickens gives eggs!! as a mommy cows gives milk like a bee makes honey..etc!! get the point across yet!!?we dont eat them we eat what they produces!! that is their gift to us they loves us and look how meat eaters treat them!!…its disgusting!!!! treat others how you want to be treated ( animals or humans) If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian

I hate the fact that these animals are separated from their families,mutilated,beaten,dissected,electricuted,stabbed,crushed,cut open,smashed and caged simply so some chubby american family can eat big macs and watch jersey shore.This is america,we stand for freedom so why aren’t these other animals free also?we’re animals too and we wouldn’t want these things to be done to us,so why do it to a pig or a cow or a chicken? my shirt size is a LARGE! ^_^ <3

I hate how their environment of life is, as in how much space they have, how many other animals they have to live with, hardly any room to lie down. They deserve to roam and live life like us humans.

Meat sucks because the poor animals are raised in a confined area and are tortured in the most dreadful, unimaginable ways possible. The animals have souls- they have feelings. It’s sad to say that us humans are to blame for the slaughtering of an innocent animal. It is even worse to think that people aren’t aware of what their food goes through, the torture. Thank goodness there are groups such as Seta, Peta, and Peta2 to help aware others of the cruelty taken place in food industries such as McDonald’s and KFC. The sadistic abuse is so criminal—these animal torturers belong in prison and not anywhere near humans or animals….the making animals into “products” and commodities, and treating them as such, and not as beings with thoughts and feelings, is so dangerous and scary and is a horrible insanity of society and individuals, and the final killing….that a human is able to do that without tearing apart their own body and soul, is so sickening and terrible…they don’t die on their own…these animals are murdered by people who know what they’re doing….at least in their own deluded, insane, cruel way. It’s sad that the poor things have to live their whole lives tormented in cold cage type things and that they’ll never get to know what it’s like to be happy and free

I have always loved animals, even more than people. (sorry!) I never have been much of a meat eater anyway, mostly fish. The final straw was when I saw a cow being knocked over by a hyster or some kind of machinery. There were other cows too and they were all standing side by side in a very crowded yard. The poor animal was knocked over and shoved by the big machine. It didn’t stand a chance. I saw this on a commercial to stop animal abuse and it made me cry. I could no longer ever smell meat again without getting sick. MEAT SUCKS!!!! I have 4 adopted kitties that I adore and in past years I have adopted many others who lived long lives (21+ years) My kitties rule my life. They have the run of our house and go wherever they please and my husband is in agreement with that too. I would love to adopt a dog, but I think 4 cats are enough right now. Cats rule!

I don’t think it is right to control animals, they are people too. They deserve natural conditions where they can be animals and use instincts, they do not deserve to be beaten, left to suffer, humiliated and starved.
They don’t deserve to be killed in such slow and painful ways. and this seriously disturbs me. I’d like for all supporters to understand what they support, and think twice about eating meat. and I think workers who inflict the pain should feel it too. (not necessarily to die though, that would make me just as bad) People NEED to be educated about how they get their meat. And they need to stop supporting it.

Heres a little comparison, animals have hearts they have brains they have souls they have feelings they have thoughts they have pain they have happiness they have families and friends and so much more! Poor helpless animals are crammed in to small cages or VERY small spaces with thousands of other animals and fattened up, then they are abruptly killed. The process is horrifying, for large animals (pigs, cows etc.) they are normally hung by one foot and then killed in a shameful and bloody manner. With small animals like chickens or other birds they are crammed in very tiny cages with about twenty others in THE SAME CAGE and once they are fattened up with feed that most of the time has drugs and anti-biotics they are trucked off to the slaughter house and killed. They are most of the time still concious when they have their necks slit and they are de-feathered in boling hot water. MEAT SUCKS it’s like cannibalism, we share the world with different ethnic groups so how is it any different with animals. Since they don’t have a voice we should speak for them, I’m not participating in this giveaway just for the t-shirt, I’m doing it to raise awareness about the terrible plight that animals are suffering. It needs to stop.

what I honestly think sucks is the way their treated. not just food and water, but even worse problems follow them. they cant move, their legs are so weak they break, and their mistreated by workers (nice management KFC), and even worse than that they experience the worst pain when they die. pigs throats slit open as they hang helplessly. chickens beaks ripped or cut off. this pain they endure for nothing but pure corporate greed is what I believe sucks.

Im a size medium in womens and i think the way people treat farm animals sucks for too many reasons. the main one being that they hide it so well that alot of people dont care enough to believe whats really going on. Animals have feelings too. And if you wouldnt eat a human, why would you eat an animal? plants are here for a reason. theyre good for us and they dont have souls or brains or hearts or any of that. Factories filled with farmed animals are awful. I don’t understand how people can do such thing to animals. I always think of those people as cold-hearted monsters.

What i think that sucks the most about Factory animals is THEIR rights. Like…alright… People would not just go around with a shotgun and kill people in broad daylight…Alright SOME people would…but NORMAL people wouldn’t. So how come people kill ANIMALS in broad daylight? They think its okay. If u go to a factory worker and ask them if a Human and a Cow were the same thing the first thing they would say is no. Why? because they have 4 legs? They eat grass? Or because they are used for hamburgers and steaks? Well what they dont know is that humans and Cows are actually alot alike, They have feelings. And guess WHAT? Everyone of us agree that factory farming is just down right sick and demented. Its the worst, and just devestating to the thought of it, xC It gets me hard knowing everyday animals with thoughts and emotions go through this dreadful encounter. I think ALOT sucks when it comes to factories!
The cramped space, the HORRIBLE neglect, DISRESPECT!, all the chemicals/steroids they’re injected with, the horrible pain they go through- being beat, having their children taken away from them, the way the grow up, it all DISGUSTS me!!! I get so mad thinking about it:( especially when some jerk tries to say that it’s actually cool and animals don’t feel anything, I get so mad!! The thing that makes me most mad is the people!! How could they live with themselves doing that to animals, animals who are the sweetest living beings! Never would an animal go out and torture someone for fun, theyre so sweet and humans are a nasty race. I’m glad there’s people out there who fight for animals with me and I would love to spread the word even more with a shirt because I can just walk around and let people know silently. MEAT SUCKS!!!

There’s not just one thing that sucks most about the way factory farmed animals are treated. Everything about it is just flat out horrible. People tend to ignore the fact that animals feel pain too. Imagine if it were you who was stuck in these cramped conditions, it was you being abused. Imagine being in these poor animals shoes. You wouldn’t do it to yourself, so don’t do it to animals.

The way factory farms treat animals, and the fact that animals are being slaughtered for food at all is outright appalling, but I think the part that i find the most outrageous and disgusting about the whole process is the fact that a lot of times, they don’t even make sure the animal is dead before hanging them by their feet and draining their blood.

The worst thing about it is that the animals are being treated like they aren’t a livig breathing thing, they are treating them like they are pieces of garbage on the side of the road, the animals are kept in dirty tight spaced places and they are treated poorly before they are even sent to death because they are going to be killed anyways, not only is the animals being treated with no respect at all but as are the workers, they are being treated like the animals they are killing, I became a vegeterian because I just don’t think it’s right to be eating something that has a life just like ours they deserve to have freedom and to be treated like a living breathing thing that has potential, not like us humans but in there own lifes. The whole thing really. Its bad enough how inhumane the killing process is, but the entire time before that how they live their lives so confined, sick, and uncared for is just sickening. And I especially hate how cruel the workers are, how it seems they go out of their way to be as cruel as possible in every little task like throwing them from cart to cage. Its sickening.

I’ve done my fair amount of research into the meat industry, and the thing that always stuck with me is the fact that dairy cows are systematically impregnated, only to have that calf taken away as soon as it is born. Just the thought of someone doing that to me makes my heart break.

I don’t think there is just one thing that sucks the most about it. But one thing that does suck is that these animals are kept in cages and not allowed to explore wide open fields and live the way animals should be allowed to. When I watched the movie Food Inc, I was just completely disgusted by all the factory farms and the way the animals were treated. I can’t stand the way the animals are treated. It’s cruel and unnecessary. I have recently gone vegetarian, and I think it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. They have no room to move, they’re piled on top of other animals, covered in their own crap, they never see sunlight, never feel grass under their feet, some dont even reach adulthood. Some can’t even reach the food under their own weight and starve! They have a set date to die… how awful is that? Also, sometimes the shock they get before they’re slaughtered doesn’t work… so they can feel it all. Awful. Ugh.

It’s like they have no heart at all! Like they can’t hear the painfull, pitifull cries of innocent helpless, defensless animals. And these people sit there and listen to them circle and squirm in their cages and cry for help and then when the animals put up the fight for their lives, possibly the last fight for ANYTHING, the people kick them and abuse them and treat them like dirt! I know people say it takes all kinds but the people that do that to animals for a living then go home with no regret, no consiounce at all, and sleep like babies… those aren’t people. They are unintelligent things that can’t even be called life-forms who should be shipped to mars and have their helmets removed so that animals can just stand there and watch as these people beg just like the animals they killed did.

The history of man kind says we developed from primates in stone ages. The idea of having to experiment on innocent animals makes me sick to my stomach, but it confuses me as to why a human being would have the capability to conduct experiments on a creature that is so much like themselves such as primates. If ‘The Evolution of Man’ is what it says it is, why in the world would you put your own kind to vile torture; living breathing organisms in which are exactly like us. There have been past scientific research on other human beings, but it was declared illegal to put your own kind in through such horrid condition. If it’s illegal to conduct experiments on another human being, why is it okay to grab these little innocent bystanders and put them to death? Do people not see that not only is it a problem to them, it is a problem to us as well! It’s destroying the natural balance of the Earth. Farms were indicated to be peaceful places where people raise animals, treating them as equals; not slaughter houses in which causes greusome disturbance and horrid pain. It sucks that factory farming is still going on as is. Animals do not have a voice of their own, so they cannot express so mush as to how terrified they are in the conditions they are in. I think that every single aspect of the meat industry is completely horrid and terrifying. When watching ‘Meet your Meat’ for the first time, I think the thing that got to me the most was the pigs being boiled alive and seeing the cattle get it’s neck sliced. Those two images have stayed with me forever and now I can’t even stand being around raw meet in grocery stores, when my family cooks it, etc.

One of the main reasons that I think factory farming sucks is that the practices are EXTREMELY unnecessary. Anything that is done to an animal as it as being killed does not contribute whatsoever to the quality of the meat. There is no purpose for the massive cruelty that takes place. It takes a sadistic, mentally deranged person to perform these types of tasks on these defenceless creature., regardless of the “benefit.”

They don’t think about the feelings of the animals that they are slaughtering whether they’re cows and pigs, or cats and dogs. Cows, chickens, pigs, they’re exactly like our beloved furballs. Animals have feelings too, they feel pain, they feel emotion, but people can’t see that. All they see is a fleabag that brings use for human consumption or pathetic cosmetics. Hell, I would take bullet for any animal any day whether it be a fish, or a dog. ALL animals have rights and need the respect they deserve. I have been around farm animals that are usually used as meat like cows, chickens, pigs, etc. They are such loving animals- not much different from dogs and cats! I don’t understand what makes a pig different from a dog. Someone would be arrested for animal cruelty is he/she cut a dog’s throat and then eat the meat. In slaughterhouses though, that happens every single day, thousands of times a day.

What sucks about the way factory farm animals are treated? EVERYTHING sucks about it! They only reproduce animals so they can kill them. I mean really, they dont even get the chance to live! They are neglected and not cared for at all. Also, the way that they kill any animal is inhumane and absolutely cruel! Pigs are beaten and then hung and drained of their blood. Cows are stunned by taking a blow to the head or they are electrocuted. Stunning cows doesnt always work! They are still alive afterwards and feel everything. Chickens? Dont EVEN get me started on chickens. They are hung by their necks and they are electrocuted. Some times them being electrocuted doesnt even work and they are alive when they are being skinned and everything. So what I think sucks the most is the way the animals are killed. Factory Farming sucks because the cows, chickens, pigs, turkeys, and other animals are all raised in close contact with no room to turn around, in disgusting environments with carbon monoxide filled air, and feces all around their feet. Also, with all the grain they feed the cattle they could be using that for humans, which means that there would be less world hunger. It angers me that people think its ok to raise animals to be so badly treated. Recently, a dumbass author here in Portugal commented on bullfighting saying that bulls raised for that have a much better life than other cows – which is not true. And even if that was true, and they were actually treated a little better than animals that live in farms, not moving and not seeing the sun or walking around, that still wouldn’t be enough. And he seems to forget that they’re killed in cold blood in a ceremony that can only be described as torture.
He said that the minority of people shouldn’t be able to forbid something the majority like. Well, if that was true, we’d still have slavery and racism everywhere.

Animal farms represent the whole concept that separate us from life. Animals have no choice, they eat what they have to in order to stay alive. However humans have the opportunity to choose between the type of foods what they eat, even they have the opportunity to create food. Why factory farmed animals sucks? Because animals are no different from us, humans, and it is only fair and makes sense that they are treated equally and given the rights to have a life. It doesn’t make sense that these animals are treated and bred this way because of us… because of our demands for “food.”

Just the fact that these animals are born to die and live in filth is disgusting. I stopped eating meat to try and do my part to offset the massive excess we, as humans, consume. The animals at least deserve to have the chance to live. If we went back to actually hunting and consuming what we actually needed versus what we wanted, we’d all (animals and humans alike) live much healthier lives.

Animals have just as many rights as humans do, but they very seldom receive the same treatment. Americans would never allow people to be treated the way factory farm animals are purposely treated – left in cramped conditions, mass breeding, poor diets, overall negelect – and eventually being slaughtered. So why is it acceptable for innocent animals to be mistreated? And at what cost? Obtaining meat from these abused animals is NOT worth it! There are so many alternatives to meat and maybe someday we can live in a world where factory farm animals can just do what they were created to do; graze and enjoy life- instead of providing flesh for an already overweight America.

What sucks about Factory Farms is almost every thing the animal living condition… how their treated how the are miss fed whit all that food whit hormones just to make them bigger and sell them at a high price. They say they die fast but some aren’t killed properly and when they are being skin’d just imagine…. and the way they handle the meat after they do those horrible things to those animal its just abominable they don’t even clean when their done they just pass the next animal and do it again. That’s why a lot of people get sick now and day especially the elderly. Animals can not speak so they can not say no or fight for themselves. Factory farms do not give animals any dignity they are cramped they can not move and they have their basic rights removed. It totally sucks!

What sucks about factory farming? EVERYTHING. the animals are treated like crap for their miserable short lives. Crammed into small spaces with no room to move, and the sick ones get beaten to death and it’s “legal”
Theyre in pain the whole time, covered in their own crap, other animals are dying around them because they haven’t survived the process and others can’t even walk under the exta weight!
It’s disgusting, cruel and sick. Saying it sucks isn’t enough.
also, they the “electric shock” before they get slaughtered isn’t effective sometimes, how horrible is that? the whole thing? Some of the animals are consious? It’s inhuman. Ugh. I could keep going but I’ll stop there…

I have been a veggie for over 25 years and don’t miss it at all! The procedures used for processing are extremely inhumane! I’ll kill a plant anyday over a slab of meat! The animals are grossly mistreated in cramped quarters that are unclean. Their quality of life, however long, is the worst case imaginable. P.S. – There are no toilets!

It’s just the fact that they use living creatures in a factory. That is just so wrong. For gods sake, they have feelings! They are not made for producing in any other way except the natural production in the nature. Ok, some farmers do care for their animals, but way to many just do it for the money. So then they produce in the most efficient way, by stuffing more animals into smaller cages, to save money and earn money. This is what I think is the worst. Running a farm in an unethical way, just for your own sake, and definetly not for the animals sake. This SUCKS! Love animals, be grateful for their need to have you around, take care of them, and they will give you happiness an love back<3

The worst part aside from the pointless slaughter of an innocent creature is how the workers will disparage or make fun of the animal while they’re butchering it. I’ve seen a video of a poultry farm worker behead a chicken and then pretend to have sex with the neck hole while laughing to his buddy behind the camera. It’s absolutely disgusting that they can take such pleasure in befouling the body of a defenseless creature whose life they’ve already taken away in such a horrible manner.

It’s hard to pinpoint what sucks the most about factory farming, seeing as how everything about it sucks. The fact that the animals involved are denied such basic rights as having the freedom to move is sickening. The crammed cages, the unsanitary conditions, the fear and stress that the animals are constanty under – it all sucks. What is just about as bad as the miserable conditions is the fact that most people don’t even take the time to think about where their meat comes from, and instead prefer to think of it as food and food alone, rather than the living being it once was.

There is nothing humane about hanging animals by their feet, slicing their throats, and letting them bleed out. It is also very inhumane to torment and torture the animals before slaughter. Absolutely uncalled for. If a criminal has the right to be free of cruel and unusual punishment, why does an animal (who has not broken any laws or harmed anybody else!) not have such basic rights? What sucks most is how animals are treated as if they feel no pain- or anything at all. Between mothers being ripped away from their babies to baby chicks being thrown into the grinder to the pain the animals endure so that SOMEBODY can have a burger and shake, it’s safe to say that meat sucks.
