We spend plenty of time debunking dumb myths about veganism, but did you know that ”birdbrain” is another silly myth? Back in the day, people thought the size of your brain determined how smart you were, which is why calling someone a “birdbrain” meant they were dumb.
The truth is that birds—especially chickens—are highly intelligent animals who experience love, happiness, pain, and sadness just as we do. Chickens might not be able to speak English, but if they could, I’m sure they’d yell, “I’m not a nugget!” Luckily, you can shout it for them when you wear this “I Am Not a Nugget” fitted T-shirt:
Chickens are arguably the most abused animals on the planet, enduring cruelty that would be illegal if the victims were dogs or cats—or even cows or pigs. The good news is that it’s easy to take a stand for animals! Take action against nugget pimps McDonald’s and KFC, pledge to go veg, or simply make compassionate fashion choices!

I cant stand the feeling of raw chicken, but with the fliers given at warped tour, i saw how theyre treated, and its not okay. The things they do to the chickens, even the babies, is horrifying. I took a stand a while ago, and i told my mother (because im only 15) that i wouldnt dare touch chicken again. or any meat for that matter. In my mind, animals have a soul. And for their lives to be forcibly taken, is murder and should be illegal.
