Pigs are, without a doubt, one of my favorite animals! Why? Here’s a whole list of reasons why. But the fact that they like music, snuggle, and are just as smart as my canine companions all helped me decide that they do NOT belong on my dinner plate.

Too long to explain here, it's long enough for a novel.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)
Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.

My friend Tyler from school is not only a vegan role model, but a awesome role model in general. He is completely straight edge and not afraid to voice his opinion. He has taught me to stand up for what I believe in and not to care what other people think. Tyler has inspired me to make a difference wherever I can. He also has his own cancer charity where he skates long distances to raise money for research. I’m so glad I Tyler and am so proud of everything he is doing!!

Josh, the lead singer of You Me at Six
He is my vegetarian role model because I met him at Warped Tour this summer and he was SO nice to me! He wasn’t some stuck up rock star. It meant so much to me that he took time to meet his fans and connect with us. He is very open with his vegetarian choices and it is so empowering to me to see someone in the spotlight using their fame to speak up for animals. (:

My favorite vegan role model is a girl named Valerie. She happens to be a grad student and is one of the most intelligent fun loving people that I have ever met. When I first met her, I asked her what made her want to go vegan. Her answer was “Do you eat your friends?”. Without having to think for a second. How can you argue with that? That one statement, totally changed my life.

Bif Naked is my favorite vegan, because she is so at peace with life as a whole, posts delish foods on her twitter page, and posts some real inspirational comments on her blog and twitter page. She even does bouts of raw food eating too! The amount of love she gives to her companion dog is just amazing. Even after overcoming cancer, she is still positive, and is very active in her local hospital to help others who are over coming cancer. Such a powerful woman!

My favourite vegan role model is my cousin. When we were younger, I did EVERYTHING she did. And as we both got older, she converted from vegetairan to vegan. This was a big deal for me, but in the past 5 years with her help, I have done the same. She is my role model, my idol.

My favorite Vegan Role Model would have to be ANYONE who is Vegan. Everyone who is Vegetarian/Vegan is an inspiration to me and i’ve been working on many things to help animals because of everyone else’s support on animals. I have loved animals since i first heard about peta in 4th grade (forever ago) but when peta2 was created i could do more than just be a teen with a voice. i gave stickers and wore my shirt with pride and i feel comfortable because of everyone’s support

My Vegetarian/Vegan Role Model would have to be Christofer Drew. I think he has has an amazing outlook on life and how society really is and i admirer him for that. Not to sound self absorbed by any means but i look at myself as my own vegan “Role model”. I’m the only person in the group of people i associate with that is giving the vegan lifestyle a chance. My family continues to eat meat and granted i don’t eat at the table with the Fam as much anymore but all in all Im doing good for my fellow animal friends. As i was leaving WarpedTour2012 some guy handed me a PETA DVD, and since then Ive been vegetarian so i do give mad props to that one guy.

MY favorite vegn role model would be my friend Norea:) She’s been a vegan her whole life and she always find fun compromises to meat products or foods that don’t fit into her diet. For one, she is the reason I am in LOVE with vegan marshmallows! Ha Ha Delicious:) And she is always there for me to ask questions about my diet. My favorite vegan model would be my grandpa, because he grew up on a farm eating animals his whole life, he is 77 and has been a vegan for 2 years. His wife and children were against it but he didnt care. He said he did it for me because we had a family get together and i was the only one not eating the meat, he said he wanted to join me. From that day on he has changed his farm to a non-slaughter farm, and sits with me at every family event:) i love him<3

Who is my vegan role model? I wish I could say that she was a famous actress, but I can’t. My vegan role model would have to be my teacher. She has taught me so many things about becoming a vegetarian/vegan, and I have to say that without her, I don’t think I could be a vegetarian right now. She is always sharing recipes with me, and has been a constant support system. Her 7 years of full-fledged vegetarianism has given me hope that with more people like her in the world, animals with be safe.

Not to be cocky but my favorite vegan role model is myself. I deserve to thank myself. Its not easy going vegan when your whole family has been eating meat since you where born. Thinking and eating different is so hard when pretty much everyone you know eats animals. Yes there are doctors, advocates, animal activist to thank but at the end of the day its up to me to make good decisions. Thank you.

I really admire the goals of the show and it means a lot to me that she lives her dream in front of the camera and on the Broadway stage and she lives a vegan lifestyle. My vegan roll model is my best friend ^_^
He got me into veganism and has helped me through the tough times i have had with a family of zombies. He once mad e me lunch and dinner because my family protested my veganism by buying nothing but meat and animal products. Hes confident and funny and is the cosest thing i have to a loving sibling and i love him dearly.
He stands up for what he believes in and doesnt let himzelf be swayed by others. He is a large animal activist that also does a bit of rescuing.

Albert Einstein because he shows that even though someone is vegetarian, they can still have brain power! That was one of the things I got told when I became vegetarian, that I would become stupid from lack of nutrients! Obviously, that is not true, though. In fact we are healthier!

She has a very busy life since shes the stage manager at our high school theatre, yet she still manages to show us that making choices that help animals is easy. My favourite is my mom! She was a vegan growing up in Vietnam and that was extremely difficult as she lived in a farm – but in the same time, easy because she saw the slaughter and knew what happens to animals that were meant for food. Even more respect because she never raised me as a vegan (my father isn’t) so now that I am trying my best to be one, I am so proud of her for being a completely vegan for 40 years and counting!

I saw a video of him talking about it and it showed the PETA website. I decided to go vegetarian after seeing all the pain animals go through living on factory farms. My favorite vegan role model is most definitely Ghandi. He was so giving to both animals and humans alike, down to earth, completely selfless, and completely pure hearted. Ghandi was completely uncorrupted, and spread so many wonderful lessons about peace, and freedom. Ghandi’s message actually converted me to veganism, in a respectful attempt to be like my role model. He actually came up with the idea of veganism, contrary to popular belief, Donald Watson only named the dietary habit. Ghandi was inspirational, innovative, caring, and is a great role model to people everywhere.

My vegan role model is my primate bio teacher from camp, Doctor Erin! She is such a passionate and caring person, and taught us in class about the benifits to animals and the environment of being veg(etari)an. My favourtie vegan role model is my friend Susana. She is the person that got me informed about veganism in the first place and ultimetly, inspired me to become one myself. She constantly informs me on new vegan recipies and is helping me fight animal cruelty!

my favorite vegan/vegetarian role model is Tim Mcilrath from Rise Against hes the reason i stood up against bullies,and was one of the reasons i became a vegetarian hes by far the main influence behind my personality and my view on the world hes always standing up for the little people on the back of a bookmark i got with a t shirt was a note saying “read Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer so i did and couldn’t believe what i read and immediately became a veggie so its all thanks to Tim and i saw his video on this page and showed it to my friend and now shes a veggie too

Natalie Portman is most inspiring, to me. She has integrated an animal friendly diet into both her and her son’s life. She is making a difference for the animals as well as introducing a healthy lifestyle to her loved ones. I hope to do so, as well, when I have kids.

My cousin, Kevin. He inspired me to become a vegetarian. He is a vegan and has celiac disease and still remains to surprise me with his cruelty-free eating habits. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Bill Clinton is absolutely my vegan hero. He may not have been vegan for long (I was vegan long before his transition) but he’s a smart man doing things the right way for good reasons. He challenges the idea that we’re just a bunch of uneducated hippies who are doing horrible things to our bodies to save the animals. He’s a successful man and, overall, people loved him as President, so I think it’s important to have someone like him on our side =]

My favorite vegetarian role models are Oliver Sykes (from Bring Me the Horizon) and Christofer Drew (from Never Shout Never!).
I love and respect them both mainly because of the decision they’ve made to become vegan, but also because they are very inspiring musicians as well. I think it’s great that they are still good, kind people, regardless of their fame.

My favorite vegan role model is Christofer Drew.
He is my favorite vegan role model because he’s realistic about life, down to earth, encouraging, thoughtful, not scared to say what he thinks and he’s not another band trying to just earn money. He cares about his fans and hopes his music will help them. Many other bands wouldn’t encourage you to download their music for free since they’re after the money, but he doesn’t care, just as long as you get ahold of it some how and enjoy it. He is also my favorite vegan role model because he cares about animals and tries to spread animal awareness.

My favorite vegan role model is definitely Christofer Drew. I adore the music that Never Shout Never produces, so that’s a plus, but what gets me about him is that he lives for it. And he takes a point of view that people who aren’t necessarily gaga for animal rights can’t argue with: your health. I really like that he doesn’t care what people think at all; I love his free spirit and how that reflects in his campaigns.
