… and I <3 Target!

Other than the fact that Target is one of the easiest places to find faux everything, as well as cruelty free cosmetics, this company also seems to have some common sense, something other companies seem to lack.

When PETA found out that Target was selling a miniature aquarium called “Planet Frog”—you guessed it, a tiny, plastic prison that’s very similar to Brookstone’s “Frog-O-Sphere”—we reached out to the corporation’s execs. We told them that biologists and wildlife specialists believe the mini-aquariums are cruel and inadequate for frogs and can be hazardous to children’s health, exposing them to diseases.

We asked Target to stop selling “Planet Frog,” and they agreed to do just that—easy peasy. No need to send out the troops, call on our celebrity friends, or launch a letter-writing campaign.

Brookstone, won’t you get with it and stop selling these froggie death traps? Ask Brookstone to follow Target’s lead now!

Stay loud!

I love Target with all my heart and I wondered wether or not they were a caring and good company. This proves to me that they are indeed “the bomb” of all superstores! Seriously, caring, kind, reasonable, and STYLISH?!?!?! (Seriously look at Walmart, ewwww)Maybe the world isn’t so bad after all :)

And this is why Target is one of my favorite stores. This news just made them even that much better. If Brookstone wasn’t so stubborn and had some sense, they could have made it just as easy to stop selling the frog-O-spheres. For some reason that many of don’t understand, they refuse to. Well, good job Target!
