Could you imagine spending months—or even years—in a dark, empty cage, in which your only interaction with people is when you are tormented in experiments? This is the reality for millions of animals who are currently living in laboratories across the U.S.:

Too long to explain here, it's long enough for a novel.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)
Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.

This looks like a normal thing to do to a beautiful,helpless animal.NOT!! WTF and why do we let them get away with it! What could they possibly learn from this shit.Anyone who owns a pet has to speak out and boycott products that are sold by companies that test on animals. It can be done, this will stop someday. Animal research is the shame of America! There is absolutely no reason for it and nothing is gained by it. There are viable alternatives to torturing animals. The suffering inflicted upon innocent, vulnerable animals is indicative of a decay in humanity. How can we expect to be treated better than we treat other living things? Animal research must stop. I grieve every day for the animals trapped in cages in research labs – so lonely, so frightened, so defenseless. We must speak up for them. Write to your state governments, protest the use of animals in college research labs (which, incidentally, is funded by your tax dollars), write to every possible authority on this subject and INSIST (don’t politely ask) that this abomination end in the U.S. You might also mention that if the gov’t is looking for ways to save money, abandoning the funding of animal research programs is a great way to start.

Honestly i couldn’t even bear to watch what this video showed. What i do know is animals are not for us to just be so disposable with. Why can’t we do testing on people in Death row. I never understood why we do testing on a creature who most likely doesn’t even need or use what is being tested on them. What kind of people go to work every day to abuse a animal. I can they detach themselves from the pain and suffering they are causing.

I remember last year we watched a video on animal testing, which was directly linked to trying to find medicine for humans. This is obviously silly because human and animal maek-up is completely different, there for diseases and cures are also VERY different. My teacher became angry when I told her it was silly to think that anything made by sting on animals could work properly for humans. She then said “What if it was your child?” Thing is, to me my pets are also my children, as they are to many many others. She then became even angrier when I was offended and hurt, and proceeded to send me OUT of the class for being so upset. People are ignorant, and I think if they saw the harsh truth, they still wouldn’t care.

I’m sorry that your teacher was so mean to you. To throw you out of the classroom when you were upset is really mean. Your teacher is obviously ignorant and didn’t like it when you challenged her beliefs. Not only does she not have compassion for animals, she also has no compassion for people.

There is alot more to animal research that just the word of sad, lonely, hurt, and scared. Animal testing does not prove that it will work on a human, plus alot of things tested kn animals all have their side affects.
