The Album Leaf.
The Album Leaf’s Tim Reece went vegetarian when he realized how cruel we as humans can be, both to our own species and others. Living in Southern California, Tim has often driven past feed lots packed with cows surrounded by their own waste (something Tim and his friends call “Cowschwitzâ€?), so the footage in PETA’s “Meet Your Meat” really hit home. Read Tim’s words of wisdom, and take a look at AlbumLeaf.com for the latest on the band.
Taste of Chaos.
Wet Seal Stencil.
We received this photo showing the Wet Seal stencil in all it’s glory, and I just had to share it with all of you. You can download this stencil and others, cut them out, and make a T-shirt or two of your own. Send us your photos and they might end up right here on the blog!
PETA2 staffers are currently on the road with the Taste of Chaos
tour. If the tour hasn’t stopped in your city yet, buy yourself a ticket and stop by our table to say hello, or enter to win a pair of tickets
compliments of PETA2.
When the tour stopped in Norfolk, Virginia earlier this week, Jeph from The Used
accompanied some folks from PETA2 for vegan ice cream at Norfolk’s own KB’s Custard. Mmmm!
Greg and the Bouncing Souls.
I know it’s been on the Site for a few days, but if you haven’t already done so, you should be sure to check out peta2.com/ot/o-BouncingSouls.asp
for PETA2’s interview with Greg from the Bouncing Souls. Greg has some really useful information on how to feel healthier while helping animals and the planet.
New PETA2 Buddy Icons.
Our buddy icon page
just keeps on growing thanks to all of the artistic Street Teamers out there. Here’s a sneak peek of a few that will be making their way onto the Site in the near future.
