Today we’ve got an exciting new feature to bring to the blog. Through mid-August, PETA2 Street Teamers across the country are tabling at the Strhess Tour, featuring Shadows Fall, Himsa, As I Lay Dying, and Remembering Never. As an added bonus, Pete of Remembering Never will be giving PETA2 all the juicy details from the tour. Check back here each week for the latest news.
Here is the first part of this epic tale. Take it away Pete…
So, kiddies, a lot of stuff has happened on this tour so far. Overall the shows have been amazing, so here are the events as they happened…
In order to get into Canada(which was the first date) we had to pay $200. We hung out in Buffalo, due to us not being booked on the fest that the rest of the tour were on. We were there for 3 days where we made lots of vegan stuff that we got from Wegmans. We had Gimme Lean sausage and hashbrowns. For dinner we had vegan tacos one night.
We had to cancel 2 shows due to our van breaking, finally. We all knew that day would come. That day was july 22nd.
Hellfest was amazing. We hung out with the fine folks at PETA and Counterpoint for a bit and did some signings and talked to kids. They had an awesome portabello mushroom pasta plate. Then we went to Norfolk, VA and ate at Cora’s. We had fake chicken sandwiches and scrambled tofu. I highly suggest going there if you are in the area. A friend of ours made vegan lasagna and cake for Aldo’s birthday. It was cute.
Now we are back on track with a new van and ready to take over the world. the tour, has been a blast thus far, so anyone in the cities, come to these shows.
