We received a call recently from a whistleblower who alerted us to a situation at Coach House Gifts in Clovis, Calif. where 37 out of 40 frogs in a shipment died after being left in the shipping box so long that they succumbed to heat. The dead frogs were flushed down the toilet.
Wondering what a store that specializes in Hallmark cards and Silly Bandz is doing with frog shipments? Well, Coach House Gifts also sells frogs crammed into 4′ by 4′ plastic cubes and sells them as desk “decorations” similar to Brookstone’s “Frog-O-Spheres.”
The similarities between the two novelty gifts don’t stop there either. Both Coach House Gifts and Brookstone buy their frogs from hellhole Wild Creations. Our undercover investigation into Wild Creations, documented rampant neglect and mishandling of these delicate animals and total disregard for their needs, welfare, and lives. Our investigator witnessed frogs being thrown around and even tossed into the garbage while they were still alive.
Tell Coach House Gifts president Craig J. Walker to stop selling these tiny frog prisons, and then demand that Brookstone do the same!

Hello! My name is Nina, and I am a musician-in-training, and I play 7 instruments. I am a liberal, an LGBT activist, avid reader, composer, singer, and poi spinner. I am vegan, and a strong supporter of animal rights.
I was born in Canada and love peta2. I table every month and meet new people:older and younger. I love music and play the recorder. I'm a 6 year spelling bee champion. Again I love peta2!
I have always lived in Los Angeles but my family and I went to Mexico for my parents wedding. So we came back to LA. I don't like LA but were here already what can I do unless I move out and find my own housing. I have always liked animals and it was til I was like about 14 when I learned about tests they do on animals and I began to explore animal cruelty because I was interested it in it. I have watched videos that just broke my heart so that's why today I'm doing all I can to not buy anything that has harmed an animal and I'm vegetarian .
I'm tall, I love sewing, fashion and the environment, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.) Obviously, I love animals! :)

I sent a website providing these torture-chambers a message on “Contact us”, but the limited space meant I could only make a small statement, which was really, really annoying. This doesn’t need to happen – no one would really give a crap if they stopped selling them anyway – they’re not exactly a must-have. I think the majority of people think they’re unethical and cruel, so it’s a win-win situation really; the company doesn’t loose money, and the customers don’t particularly loose out on much.

What kind of a disgusting person would want a dead frog preserved in a plastic case!? Thats just as morbid as having a deer or moose head on your wall. Seriously, I just can’t understand why people would want that kind of thing!
