Hey y’all! I’m super stoked to bring you my edition of “This Week at peta2!” —the blog series which gives you an inside view of what it’s like working in the PETA office and the peta2 department.
We got a call this week from an awesome student, Ariel Cooper, about doing an interview for a school project she was working on. By the way, she lives in a vegan household—how f’ing badass is that?! Anyway, she came up to our Norfolk office from North Carolina, snapped some pics with Christina and myself, got some stickers , AND found out about our upcoming Ringling Bros. protest—more on that in a bit. We talked to Ariel about the amazing-ness that is vegan cheese, buying cruelty-free products and standing up against cruelty to animals.
Yesterday, we had not one but TWO protests against Ringling Bros. for their first two shows in Norfolk. Ariel and a ton of other volunteers and PETA staff were in attendance for both protests—one in the morning and one in the evening. It’s good to remember that animals can’t speak up for themselves, so we should use our voices whenever we can to help them out. We heard tons of supportive honking from cars driving by—which always makes us feel warm and fluffy inside.
Speaking of “warm and fluffy,” check out this cute pic of a puppy that was in our office this week. His name is Guinness and he’s always walking into the peta2 department to give kisses and spread the love. 
I know Rachel showed, and bragged, about the amazingly delish vegan cupcakes we received from My Vegan Sweet Tooth—well we received vegan cupcakes AGAIN! A former PETA employee, Erin Edwards, brought us some yummy treats after our AM circus protest. I managed to snag one away before the circling vegans nabbed all of them—thankfully I didn’t lose any fingers.
Sadly, I’m leaving Norfolk and heading back to Los Angeles in a few days, but I’m sure the cuteness and amazing vegan food will continue, somehow, without me. I’ll leave you with a pic of Christina being crazy.

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)

I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
