Then: Veggie burgers came in powder form.

And you had to add water to make them not so … blah.

Now: The possibilities are endless—there are crispy “chicken” patties, vegan sliders, mock sausage patties, and more!

Then: Vegan stereotypes looked like this:

Now: Vegans are rock stars, athletes, politicians, and everyday people.

Famous vegan people

Then: Cruelty-free fashion only came in brown and brownish.

Now: Many high-end designers and major fashion retailers sell a wide range of fashionable vegan clothing items and accessories.

Then: Dining out when vegan:

Awesome post! I remember those powdered veggie burgers. There are so many options now, so why NOT go vegan to help animals and the environment? 🙂
