OK—let’s get one thing straight. Vegans love food. From the minute we wake up, we’re thinking snacks … well most of us are. That’s why it’s so ironic that flesh lovers throw the “but I like to EAT!” nonsense at us so frequently.
Believe me, if there is one thing I’ve learned since going vegan, it’s that when you’re dousing everything in cheese, sour cream, and animal fat, you’re really not tasting anything else. Veganism opens up limitless opportunities to actually taste something (other than cholesterol and fat) when you sit down to eat and that is why so many of us are bona fide foodies. The best part? No one dies for our plate … so there’s no guilt!
From Indian food, to Thai food, Middle Eastern food, Mexican Food, Italian Food, or Chinese food, veganism is even easier when you’re eating out. If you’re used to the plain old veggie burger with fries, we’re here to help! For the next several months, we’ll be featuring deeeelicious international and diverse foods, restaurants, and recipes that will help you realize that veganism is good for your tastebuds (and the animals, too!).
Tomorrow we’ll begin with Middle Eastern food—stay tuned!

Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I am Angela. When I am not helping animals I am listening to music, reading, or playing video games. My spirit animal is a fox and I love nature. What else is there to know? Want to know anything about me, need advice or anything message me :)
Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.

Gimme this food! Looks so yummy.
I’d like to go vegan but where I live (france) it’s really hard or impossible to find some products and if you, they’re freaking expensive! Can’t afford that luxury as a student.
Plus, milk and eggs are a basis in our food culture. Hard to get rid of them.#justsayin

It’s gotta be Indian food – but not the rubbish you get at take-aways, the *real* food you can only get at traditional family-run Indian restaurants.
