Makeup lovers, rejoice!
Following thousands of your e-mails and talks with PETA, Urban Decay has announced that it won’t sell its products in China until non-animal testing methods are accepted there. We are stoked that Urban Decay is staying true to its ethic of producing top-quality products without harming animals—even though it means giving up a market share in China—and we’re pleased to return the company to our list of cruelty-free companies!
On behalf of rats, mice, and bunnies everywhere, woohoo!

Hello! My name is Nina, and I am a musician-in-training, and I play 7 instruments. I am a liberal, an LGBT activist, avid reader, composer, singer, and poi spinner. I am vegan, and a strong supporter of animal rights.
I was born in Canada and love peta2. I table every month and meet new people:older and younger. I love music and play the recorder. I'm a 6 year spelling bee champion. Again I love peta2!
I have always lived in Los Angeles but my family and I went to Mexico for my parents wedding. So we came back to LA. I don't like LA but were here already what can I do unless I move out and find my own housing. I have always liked animals and it was til I was like about 14 when I learned about tests they do on animals and I began to explore animal cruelty because I was interested it in it. I have watched videos that just broke my heart so that's why today I'm doing all I can to not buy anything that has harmed an animal and I'm vegetarian .
I'm tall, I love sewing, fashion and the environment, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.) Obviously, I love animals! :)

That’s fantastic. Makes me feel good being part of the street team because I emailed them about this issue from one of the actions. WIN for peta2, animal lovers, but most importantly animals!

I still don’t plan to buy from them. The fact that they’ve shown profit mattered more to them than what they built their company on is a red flag to me. I can use my money elsewhere.

It’s awesome, but at the same time, shouldn’t we work on getting ALL of their products vegan? I’d really like to be able to buy more than just eye shadow from them. Lord knows I have enough of that stuff -.-

This makes me so so so happy. I love Urban Decay and I was preparing myself to give up their products and I’m relieved both for the animals and for myself that I don’t have to now!
