We have some great news for animals today! Following a request from PETA, the District of Columbia Public Schools has voluntarily adopted a progressive dissection-choice policy. This means that students in Washington, D.C., can take a stand against chopping up dead animals at school and instead learn using modern computer software and other humane methods. How awesome is that?!
Want even more good news? The nation’s capital is not alone! Many districts around the country as well as 15 states already have similar policies. Check if your state is one of them!

You don’t live in one of these states? No prob—just e-mail us at peta2@peta2.com. We’ll help you get a dissection-choice policy at your school and send you all the free material that you’ll need to get the rest of your classmates on board! Don’t forget that you can print your own petition sheets to get started right away!
P.S. On Friday, we’ll be launching an all-new, interactive site that’s going to make it even easier to cut out dissection and help animals at your school, so be sure to check back! Who else is super excited for this?
