The other day I was listening to the song “Apparently, I’m a ‘P.C. Fascist’ (Because I Care About Both Human and Non-Human Animals)” (which coincidentally, we labeled as one of the Top 10 Animal Rights riffs), and it occurred to me, it’s been awhile since we last heard what was happening with Propagandhi. Then I stumbled across this amazing interview with the guys, and I wanted to highlight one question and answer in particular:
Shari Black Velvet, writer for Save a Scream: Proceeds from the pre-release downloads of went to PETA2, Sea Shepherd Society and Partners in Health. How did you originally discover each of those organizations and do you think your proceeds did much to help them?
Chris Hannah: PETA I’ve known about since my early introduction the animal liberation movement. I had known of the Sea Shepherds for about as long but didn’t pay enough attention until I saw Captain Paul Watson speak here in Winnipeg around the turn of the millennium.
We love the fact that years later, we can still count on the guys in Propagandhi to be supportive of the work that we do and vice versa. It makes us beam with pride when people say to us, “peta2, I have known about you guys for forever!” It’s working everyone; let’s keep spreading the message!

Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
