Sarah in the UK wanted to give you a heads up on a march that takes place this weekend in London.
On Saturday 6th December people will be marching in almost 100 countries on 5 continents urging the government to take action on climate change. 10,000 environmentalists are expected to join the National Climate Marchhere in London.
We all know that the best thing to do, not only for our health, but for our planet, is to go vegetarian.
According to the United Nations, raising animals for food is “one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global.”
Don’t forget to sign the petitionto get meat properly labelled with a warning that states it is the number one cause of global warming.
I’m definitely going along to this march and will be there proudly handing out some Meat’s Not Greenleaflets.
Here are the details if you’re able to come along:
When: Saturday 6th December
Where: Grosvenor Square (Bond Street/Marble Arch tube)
Whilst most of you won’t be able to attend, make sure you email peta2 at firstname.lastname@example.org get yourself some leaflets to spread the word.
