'Zookeeper' Movie: Cruelty is NOT Funny!

You know which movie you should NOT see this summer? The new Kevin James film, Zookeeper, which will be released on July 6. The film features a number of captive wild animals, including an elephant, a lion, a monkey, and a giraffe, among many other species.

The use of all wild animals in film and television is objectionable, but this movie is one that you should definitely boycott because of the controversial death of a giraffe during the production of the film and the use of an elephant provided by the company Have Trunk Will Travel (HTWT). In May, Animal Defenders International released undercover video footage that shows trainers at HTWT as they abuse elephants with bullhooks and electric prods. WTF, Kevin James?!

Be sure you tell EVERYONE you know that you’re boycotting this cruel movie, and ask everyone else to do the same!

Thanks for sticking up for animals used for entertainment!

I wish all the elephants could retire to elephant sanctuary Tennessee or paws ca. I just hate what people do to these wonderful animals. Shame on them.

I wasn’t going to watch this movie anyways, because it sounds super stupid, but now I’m just fuming mad. A giraffe died?! NO WAY Am I EVER seeing it and I’m definitely forbidding everyone I know from seeing it :D. My new status: “Do NOT watch Zookeepers, they killed a giraffe! Maybe not intentionally, but if they left it in the wild…”

The movie looked terrible anyway and I hope it does badly in theaters! There are plenty of hilarious movies that are cruelty-free!

My sister and grandmother saw the movie without me knowing. I wish that I told them not to see it. :(

And it looks utterly ridiculous. Harming animals for a movie. And a crappy one at that. I’m most disappointed in Donnie Wahlberg. I like to think of his as a good person, but I guess he only cares about his ever-growing wallet!

people who spend there money on movies with cruelty are not only helping these people who abuse their animals make money, they’re saying its okay to abuse animals, even if they dont know it! with the technology they have now, there is no need to use real live animals in movies.

A comedy has nothing to do with suffering of animals. I will not waste my money on this movie

That is rediculous. There is enough technology these days, that they could get a picture of an elephants and turn it into an hour production of an elephant dancing. There is so many routes that can be taken for less cruelty.

I had no idea, but now I know I won’t be watching this! This may be a “comedy” but how could anybody laugh when those animals are suffering?
