Nothing. We’re having a week+ power outage and can’t store food – but usually I’d bring some type of pizza bread/roll, pasta salad, fresh fruit salad, some chips, and maybe some Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies with a variation of drinks.

At Christmas I did that kind of thing–I took family favs and “veganized” them! No one knew the difference!

A good way to bring up your veganism or vegetarianism to other people without sounding preachy is to create a dish for a group of people that is vegan, and then explain that fact when people talk about how awesome it tastes. What vegan foods will YOU be bringing to share at your 4th of July picnic or party?
