Check out the article online for more information about each point:
1. Call ahead.
Many places will cater for vegans if they know in advance.
2. Bring your own food.
If you don’t fancy a cheese-less pizza, bring your own that the restaurant can use.
3. Fast food can be your friend.
There are some vegan options at fast food places if you know where to go.
4. Go ethnic!
Mexican, Indian and Ethiopian restaurants may have some ‘accidentally’ vegan dishes on their menus.
5. Get to know shop owners.
They may be happy to order in specific items for a friendly customer.
6. Order items online.
These days it’s not that expensive to order online and get them delivered to your home.
7. Make friends online.
Other people are always good for tips!
8. Spread the word!
The more vegans in your town, the more likely places will start to cater for you.
