• A Suggestion

I’m a bit of a writer in my spare time, and I had an idea that might make people realize more what animals are going through to provide us humans with food, clothing, and entertainment. I decided to write some short stories based on the true stories I’ve read here on PETA2, but instead of them being based around animals, I will personify the animals, making them human characters going through the same things the animals went through. Perhaps this would make people realize what’s really happening around them.

So I suppose my questions are–would I be allowed to use the stories this way, would anyone be interested in reading the finished product, and are there any specific places I should put it for peopl to read?

You can totally post them on the boards! I’d love to read them. I recommend posting them under Life & Relationships. :)

I was considering publishing it to GoodReads, but I hadn’t even considered a blog. I already have a Tumblr account, so I suppose I could make a side blog on there for it. Thanks so much for the suggestion! I’ll get to work writing as soon as I can. Any suggestions as to my first story? I was thinking Audrey the dog, or the elephants abused in the circus.

What a great idea! I suggest maybe starting a blog? WordPress and Blogger both allow you to create a blog for free. Its a great way to reach a large audience quickly. Good luck and make sure you post the first story here (at least a link to your blog) so everyone can read.

Also by starting a AR blog, you get street team points!
