I use Neutrogena naturals face wash. Although Neutrogena isn’t a cruelty-free company, Neutrogena naturals face wash is not tested on animals, as it says on the bottle. I also used to use ‘yes to tomatoes’ acne wipes, but I switched to using ‘acnefree’ acne wipes after I found out that no ‘acnefree’ products are tested on animals by going to their website and asking them. I also used to use ‘yes to tomatoes’ acne lotion, but I switched to using the ‘acnefree’ acne and blackhead spot on terminator, and it works very well. I also use this awesome new device I got for Christmas called the ZENO hot spot blemish clearing device. It is extremly effective and you can buy it at Walmart!

I love the ‘yes to tomatoes’ acne spot stick and derma-e very clear moisturizer. Also make sure you wash your face twice a day and moisturize at least once a day. I hope this is helpful.

I should add that high-fructose corn syrup appears to cause much worse acne than actual sugar.

When I went vegan, my acne cleared up pretty well. But before that, I couldn’t afford to use fancy acne stuff anyway, so at night I would mix a thick paste of baking soda and lemon juice to use as spot treatment. after 2-3 nights it totally took away the zits. Super cheap too :)

There’s a process that is often mentioned on other forums as being very effective but I have no idea if it actually works.
I’ll list it anyway, in case you want to try it.

    - Wash 7 fluffy towels
    - Right when they come out of the dryer, put them in a plastic garbage bag and close the bag to keep them completely clean (this will be you ‘clean bag’).
    - When you go to bed, take one towel out of the bag and use it as your pillow (or cover your pillow with it).
    - When you wake up, put the used towel into a second bag (your ‘dirty bag’)
    - Do this every day and when all 7 towels are used up, repeat the process (wash, put in clean bag…)

Lush has really wonderful face cleansers, face masks, and many other products. They’re natural, most are vegan, and they’re also a very green and environmentally friendly company! I’d definitely recommend them!

My favorites are Desert Essence and Alba Botanica. A few other brands I use sometimes are Nature’s Gate, Philosophy, Earth Science, and Dermalogica. Oh and I also just got this soap http://www.vitacost.com/auromere-ayurvedic-bar-soap-sandalwood-turmeric-2-75-oz-2?csrc=GPF-PA-027275400014&ci_sku=027275400014&ci_gpa=pla&ci_kw= that is nice and convenient and cheap. (: Also, if you have the money or a rich aunt or something lol, Clarisonics work really well. I got the Mia as a gift last year and love it. One last thing to take into consideration is that you may be over washing your face. Once I started washing my face once a day instead of twice and in the morning just rinsing with water, my skin became much happier. Hope I helped and good luck! (:
