I personally don’t like the nutty flavor almond milk leaves behind when I drink it or use it in cereal, although I don’t find it that bothersome when I use it in some recipes. Mainly I go for soy milk when eating cereal or for drinking. I also use coconut milk for making smoothies and occasionally cereal. The best thing to do would be to try out the different types and decide for yourself. Best wishes.
It depends on your preference. I get soymilk because it’s higher in protein. That being said, some people have sensitivities to soy or an allergy. You can use them pretty much anywhere you use milk. I use silk vanilla with cereal and in smoothies.
