I wanted to become vegan, but I ran into a few issues. Most vegan recipes and such seem to call for soy milk or something containing soy. I have a problem with reoccuring kidney stones and the doctors said that soy is a main factor in them forming. Do you guys know of any alternatives and recipes? Thank you. :)

You could try rice milk, coconut milk, almond milk.. etc! Plenty of alternatives are out there. :)

I’ve never heard of soy being connected to kidney stones and I can see no reason why it would be.

Almond milk, coconut milk, hazelnut milk, hemp milk, rice milk, etc. Instead of tofu try tempeh and seitan. They both are soy-free.

There are tons of other milk like silencescreams says.
But SS forgot flax seed, chestnut, oat, and walnut milk!! I saw them at the local food co-op. They all sound pretty unique! :D

I have a friend who can’t eat soy and she eats stuff like almond milk and protein shakes, nut butters, sunflower butter, quinoa, etc…. Good luck!!!

For fake meat you can use wheat gluten instead of soy products (easy to find recipe on internet plus easy to make)
There are plenty of vegan nonsoy milks such as almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk, hemp milk, and sunflower milk

    Hope this helps.
If you want any particular kind of recipe let me know and I will see if I can dig something up for you
