    Hey,
I strongly believe that slaughterhouses are not natural, the way they kill animals and torture them is morally wrong. I also think the number of animals they kill is too many to be any were near natural. People are always saying I’m wrong and that eating meat is a “natural part of nature”. My response is “yes” and “no”. I feel that putting chicks in scolding hot water alive is NOT natural. I feel that hanging a cow by it’s foot and slitting it’s throat and letting it bleed to death is not natural. That raising animals to die is a horrible life! But people usually always respond and say stuff like “Cats play with their food, they don’t kill them quick.” But we aren’t cats, we are humans and we have the choice to stop this cruelty. People are always like “Yeah I eat the meat but I’m not killing the animal.” Does that seem okay? I don’t think so. And we don’t need to eat meat, we have so many different vegan and vegetarian choices we don’t even need meat! But people WANT to eat me for their satisfaction.
Do you think I’m right about this?

Definitely. Natural would be a lion killing its prey, because lions depend on meat for survival. Unlike humans, lions can’t survive on vegetables. BUT WE HAVE A CHOICE, we can stop eating meat and put an end to these unnatural slaughterhouses. The only reason we eat meat is for pleasure/taste, and for a source of protein. But what people don’t know is that fruits and veggies can taste really good, and provide us with a good intake of protein. So, we can live just fine without meat. I agree with you, and next time you should explain that to people who doubt you or say that it’s necessary!

I think the same way as you, and I think I’m right!

If people think it’s so ‘natural’ to eat meat – why don’t they go out, catch an animal themselves, skin/de-feather it themselves then eat it raw. All without weapons/human equipment. Human bodies don’t have the right claws, teeth or digestive systems to eat meat ‘naturally’!!

@hakred has it quite right. ‘Right’ and ‘wrong’ aren’t set in stone. If you believe it is immoral to eat meat, you are not obligated to.
