I am getting a tattoo on my side of an animal rights quote, I really like “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
But it’s really long. Does anyone else know of any good ones that are small enough to be tattooed?

Maybe paraphrase it…“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” That’s a little shorter.
    Not a tattoo but funny…
“You put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I’ll buy you a new car.”

My personal favorite is “The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?”-Jeremy Bentham I think it puts into perspective for a lot of omnivores why you are vegan/vegetarian. I use in when I have to “justify” my diets to others.

    Hey @holly7,

I’m getting “Until every cage is empty” across my chest. However, you should go with one that means a lot to you and really identifies you. Because that’s what tattoos are, a part of who you are.

    Good luck! 🙂

    Jose 🙂

There’s a quote that I really like that’s simply, “Live and Let Live”. It can have so many different meanings that can be uniquely personal.
