I’d say it would be best to be serious in your speech so that others see it as a serious matter as well. Try using similes and metaphors as well, I always find that they get the point across
Definitely talk about and emphasize the abuse, long hours and poor conditions the horses are forced to work in. Find some strong facts that will shock people, because then you’ll grab their attention and they’ll want to know more

I am writing a speech on horse drawn carriages for my creative writing class… any suggestions? should I use satire or be serious? Anything I should definitely include to get my point across? I already saw peta’a article on horse drawn carriages..
