The subtitle of Jean’s blog is “21 day vegan challenge on the cheap!”…she’s a vegetarian mom who wanted to go vegan for 21 days and ended up stretching it out for over a year! She posted loads of easy yumful recipes, info bits like “top 7 sources for vegan protein”, plus a helpful list of vegan food deals and steals…supercool if you’d rather spend your money on animalhuggin’ tees and tats. 😉
On today’s carnivore food calendar it’s chicken cordon bleu day…cheese stuffed in a chicken is too wrong in too many ways. So we’re doing up vegan cheese stuffed in a vegan calzone instead…takes almost no time, tastes crazydelish and the innocent chickens and cows will thank you!

I think I’ve been vegan for around 5-6 years now. People keep asking me and I’m not entirely sure, it’s not something I ever made a note of!!
Noodles have to be my favourite vegan cheap eat – just add some sauce to the cheapest ones and they taste good!
I can name my least favourite vegan stuffed food: peppers! I like peppers but they don’t like me (they make me really bloated) so it does irritate me when it seems to be the default vegan option at a lot of places.
And my favourite vegan stuffed food is… in my mouth LOL!
lol…I was just talking to a friend in NC who told me about mac & cheese calzones and she challenged me to veganize them. Supercool that someone already has! goodgolly, you are the lucky ducks to work at peta2 and have an amazing vegan restaurant right across the street!
