I was doing great not to long ago, I was a steady vegetarian. But then a couple months back sh*t hit the fan and I have been eating meat again. Well everything but pork. I really need some support because I’m still emotionally recovering. If you want to know exactly what happened I will be happy to tell you.

@Karese something similar happened to me a few years back and I fell off the wagon but I passed by a factory farm and decided to be nosy and something in my head just clicked and I can’t even look at meat anymore, try that!

We all make mistakes, but learning from them is the important part about them. Like they say in Meet the Robinsons, “Keep Moving Forward.”

You’ve got this, girl! Sometimes we fall, but I know that once you pick yourself up and get back on track that you’ll feel better than ever. Stay strong. If there’s something specific that you’re craving, I’d be glad to help you find some great recipes. :)

Two things: “Don’t worry about it and move on!” and “Just stick to it”

See, I say “Don’t worry” because really, what can you? If you’re really wanting to help the animals, then that would be a good enough motivation to go veg. If you’re okay with participating in killing innocent animals, harming your body, and feel fine about contributing to global warming, then it’s okay if you eat meat :) Really! No one is going to hurt you if you kill the planet!

Okay, since it’s starting to sound sarcastic, let’s go to the other thing I have to say. Really? I read that you crave it, but why do you crave bloody corpse? Isn’t it gross to you that you are eating dead animals? If you crave, eat meat alternatives! If you think they’re expensive, then don’t! Then if you stick to eating meat, you’re contributing to all that crap I said above! That completes the negative cycle! If you don’t want to keep this up, put a stop to it and go veg!

So yeah, two things I had to say. Read it or don’t, your choice.

Don’t worry about the past, bad things happen to good people, all you can do is pick yourself up again.

See if you can find some faux meat alternatives that help you to deal with your cravings, there are plenty out there to choose from, you just need to find the ones that you like :)

It is mostly just cravings. And what happened is my dad bailed out on me (again) so I have been really depressed because I have a 12 year old brother and a 2 year old sister over there. I am doing better though, but still having cravings for meat, usually I can hold them off (except chicken) its really hard for me to though.

Don’t allow a stumble to serve as an excuse to give up.
Just put yourself right back on track and keep going.
If you’re having trouble with cravings, I recommend stocking up on substitutes.

(Yes, I’d be interested in hearing about what exactly happened if you’re willing to share. It’s always helpful to get more information about the challenges veg*ns encounter.)

I am sorry you are doing bad! :( My best advice is to try really hard to stay strong, if it is to hard to be a vegetarian at this point in your life then maybe you should wait.I hope things get better for you!
