Hello! So I’ve lost about 60 pounds now as a vegetarian/vegan and I think I’m finally at the weight I want to be, give or take about 5 pounds. (I’m 5’8″ and 140 with a BMI of about 21). Howevverrr, my skin I guess hasn’t caught up with my weight loss. D: Awkward, I know. Are there any vegan remedies for helping speed up skin unstretching/elasticity/whatever? (I know there isn’t a magic cure for everythinngggg, but maybe there is? 🙂 haha)
Thanks everyone! I think no matter what I do it’ll definitely be a process, but I’m definitely going to exfoliate and find some sort of stretch lotion or try coconut oil, as well as tone some (yoga time!! Woohoo!!). Until I get my paycheck, I’ll just use some old extra healing St. Ives lotion I have on hand from (sniffle) before they went evil and cruel.
@katytheveg If you find some magical cure, definitely let me know, though. 😉 haha.
@Rachel-S Huh. I didn’t really think it was a medical thing, but next time I talk to my doctor I’ll definitely bring it up. Thanks!
i agree with possibly bulking up and using good moisturizers with coconut oil and stuff like that. contact the companies but since most high-end products tend to be vegan there’s a good chance that the stretch-mark creams that actually WORK are “accidentally vegan”
