Honestly, is there really an animal friendly birth control out there? I know there are nonhormonal birth controls, but is there cruelty free? I’ve been researching and I can’t find anything, which makes me sad. :C
    HELP.

Nexplanon is a little plastic stick you can get inserted in your arm. I don’t know if it has animal ingredients but it does work for 3 years so maybe look into that?

The way I see it, using birth control is okay because you’re preventing overpopulation. Pretty much all medicine is tested on animals or was at some point. It just depends on how far you want to split hairs but yes there are vegan condoms..

From the 8th Edition of the Animal-Free Shopper:

These have been tested on animals (as all drugs are unfortunately) but don’t contain any animal ingredients.

    Pfizer Femulen (oral contraceptive)

    Janssen-Cilag Evra (contraceptive patch)

    Bayer Noristerat (contraceptive injection)

    Bayer Merina (Intrauterine device)

    And contraceptives:
    Durex condoms – Avanti Ultima
Glyde Health Ltd. – Latex Condoms and Sheer Glyde Dams
Pasante Health Care – Condoms (Delay, Extra, Large, Mixed Flavours, Naturelle, Ribbed, Trim and Xtra Sensitive)

Yeah, a lot of people don’t think about it! But I read that nearly every birth control uses vivisections for research! :’C
I don’t know if the patch is tested on, nor the shot. ://
