    Sorry this is kinda an awkward conversation….. Ever since I became a vegetarian I have been getting bloated more often. I haven’t been able to “go” as much as a should and my digestion is soo slow. I am not gassy at all. Its very uncomfortable, and i look like I am pregnant when I am bloated. Help?

    Some people have weird digestive systems that react differently to a more plant based diet. Your body may be retaining all the extra water caused by your extra intake of veggie/fruits.

    You may also have a glutton allergy. Going glutton free for a couple weeks and see if anything changes.

    Good natural products to help with bloating are ginger and peppermint which comes in many different forms: tea, sweets, tablets etc.

    Cutting out gluten is always a good idea.
    Also make sure you’re getting enough fiber!
