Where lots of warm clothes, and try to get permission to do stalls in malls/shopping centres, then you won’t have to worry about the cold or people being put off by the cold.

Generally, the winter is when I do a lot more of putting pamphlets on windshields and pinning information on bulletin boards in stores. Putting stickers on packages of meat and lobster tanks. It’s very impersonal, but as you said – people aren’t very fond of being stopped in the freezing cold, and actually making the effort to do so can cause more harm than good. If they’re extremely irritated, they’re much more likely to throw the information away.

Hello! The weather’s getting chillier and chillier by the day (at least where I live) and I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to stay active during the late fall and winter. How can you get people involved without having to stand in the cold for hours? Summer is so easy, because you can just catch people on their way to the beach, offer them some refreshingly cool vegan smoothies, and hand them a pamphlet. With the colder days in fall and the upcoming winter… “ain’t nobody got time for that”.
Nobody wants to be stopped for five minutes when their toes are freezing off! It’d be like asking people to stop in the pouring rain so you can offer them a glass of water.
Can the weather stop us?
